Vevor Retractable Baby Gates recalled due to entrapment hazard

Issue

The recalled gates can allow a child’s torso to fit through the opening between the gate and the floor, posing a risk of serious injury due to entrapment. As of March 13, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents and injuries in Canada.

What you should do

• Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled baby gates and contact MARIFEL LTD for a full refund. Consumers should destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh and sending a photo of the destroyed gate to recalling@vevor.com.
