Business Terms of Service
Scope confirmation
Each catalogue audit or monitoring engagement begins with scope confirmation. The product count, file quality, identifiers, price, expected turnaround and deliverables may be confirmed by email, estimate or invoice before work begins.
Payment and commencement
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, one-time audit work begins after payment and receipt of the required catalogue file. Monthly monitoring begins after the recurring service is activated and the catalogue is accepted.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate, authorized and reasonably complete product information.
- Confirm that sharing the catalogue with SafetyPulse does not violate contractual, privacy or intellectual-property obligations.
- Review possible matches against the complete official notice, including identifiers, lots, dates and distribution information.
- Make all inventory, regulatory, customer-notification and safety decisions independently.
Nature of results
A possible match is not a confirmed recall match. A no-current-match result does not guarantee that a product is safe, has never been recalled, or will not be recalled later. Results are limited by the sources available, source updates, identifier quality and information supplied by the customer.
Delivery and revisions
Reports are delivered in the agreed format. Reasonable corrections to clear processing errors should be requested promptly. Changes to the catalogue, additional products or expanded research may require a revised scope and price.
Cancellation and refunds
Before work begins, a paid one-time audit may be cancelled and refunded, less any non-refundable processing costs where permitted. After substantive work begins, fees are generally non-refundable because time and processing have been committed. Monthly monitoring may be cancelled before the next billing cycle; partial-month refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law.
Confidentiality
SafetyPulse will not publicly display or sell a customer catalogue. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to host, transfer, process, secure or deliver the service.
Availability and limitation
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, SafetyPulse is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost inventory value or business interruption arising from use of or reliance on the service. Any direct liability relating to a paid engagement will not exceed the fees paid for that engagement, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.
Contact and governing rules
Questions or notices may be sent to info@safetypulse.ca. These terms are intended to operate under the applicable laws of Quebec and Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer or statutory rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes
SafetyPulse may update these terms as services evolve. The terms accepted for a specific paid engagement remain subject to any separate written scope or invoice terms agreed with the customer.
