Issue

Issue: Under certain conditions, a problem with the rear audio control module (RACM) could cause the front passenger seat to unexpectedly move forward or backward, or tilt and recline on its own. If this happens, the seat may continue moving even if there's an obstruction. Safety Risk: A seat that doesn't stop moving could increase the risk of injury. Corrective actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the RACM and accessory protocol image module (APIM) software to disable the chauffeur mode function.
