Issue

On certain vehicles, the steering wheel hands-on detection system may not detect when the driver removes their hands from the steering wheel. If the driver has an emergency and is unable to drive, the emergency stopping assistant system would not activate. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2023-561.
