LG Slide-In and Freestanding Electric Ranges recalled due to fire hazard

Issue

Front-mounted knobs on the recalled ranges can be activated by accidental contact by humans or pets, posing a fire hazard. As of February 12, 2025, the company has received 8 reports of incidents and 2 reports of injuries including one minor cut and one minor burn in Canada.

• Consumers should immediately contact LG Electronics Canada, Inc for a free warning label and placement instructions. Consumers may continue to use their range while waiting for the free warning label and instructions.
