Jack’s Magic Power Blue Instant Cartridge & DE Filter Cleaner recalled due to corrosivity hazard

Issue

The recalled product does not meet the labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury. As of November 11, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What you should do

• Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Jack’s Magic Power Blue Instant Cartridge & DE Filter Cleaner and contact Backyard Brands for a replacement product or refund.
