Hey Duggee: Duggee and the Christmas Badge book recalled due to choking hazard

Issue

Due to a manufacturing fault, the glitter varnish finish on the book cover can be peeled off. Small flakes of glitter varnish could be a choking hazard to small children. As of February 26, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What you should do

• Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Hey Duggee: Duggee and the Christmas Badge book and contact the retailer for a refund or return it to the library from which it was borrowed.
