Expanded recall: Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machine recalled due to fire hazard

Issue

The power connector inside the fan can corrode and cause the fan to overheat, posing a risk of fire. As of April 17, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 6 reports of fans overheating and smoking with one report of fire and no reports of injuries or property damage

What you should do

• Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machine and go to the SNOOZ Inc., website to register for a replacement fan.
• For more information, consumers can contact SNOOZ Inc., by telephone at 1-855-953-4125 from 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST, by email at cs@getsnooz.com or visit the company website.
• Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and SNOOZ Inc.
• Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
• Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
