Files are retained only as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve issues and meet legal obligations. Deletion requests can be sent to info@safetypulse.ca.
Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. Remove passwords, payment-card data, employee records, health information and unrelated personal data before sharing a catalogue.

Before you send a catalogue
Does a “no match” result guarantee a product has never been recalled?
No. Recall data and product identifiers can be incomplete. SafetyPulse provides a screening and review workflow, not a legal guarantee. Your business remains responsible for confirming applicable notices and taking required action.
What fields produce the best results?
UPC/GTIN, brand, product name, model, DIN/NPN where applicable, lot, package size and manufacturer. We can still review a catalogue with partial information, but more identifiers improve confidence.
How do you protect catalogue information?
The public form is used only for scope information. Catalogue files are requested separately and used only to provide the agreed service. SafetyPulse does not sell or publicly display customer catalogues.
How long does an audit take?
Turnaround is confirmed before payment and depends on catalogue size, file quality and the number of possible matches requiring manual review.
Can we begin with a small sample?
Yes. A sample file is often the best way to confirm your file format and the usefulness of the report before screening a larger catalogue.
Is SafetyPulse affiliated with the Government of Canada?
No. SafetyPulse is an independent platform that organizes information from official public recall sources and links findings back to those sources.
